What to Expect with a Breast Augmentation with Lift
To start your breast augmentation with lift, we will begin by administering general anesthesia to ensure your comfort. From there, Dr. Frederick will make the necessary incisions to the breasts, create a pocket for the breast implants (saline or silicone implants), and insert them into place. He will also remove excess breast tissue and skin and lift the breasts to a more youthful position. Once everything is reshaped and in place, he will close the incisions, and you'll be ready to start the recovery and healing process.

After the procedure, patients will be fitted with a surgical bra, which provides support to minimize swelling and discomfort. Patients will also be prescribed pain medications and are recommended to use cold compresses. Strenuous exercise must be avoided for several weeks, but most patients can return to work and light activities after 1-2 weeks. Results will develop gradually as swelling reduces and the incisions heal, but these results will last for many years if patients maintain a stable weight and a healthy lifestyle.
