Breast revisions can include changing the size of the implant with an implant exchange, re-positioning of the breast implant (breast implant revision surgery), doing a breast lift over the implant, replacement of a ruptured implant, removal of the capsule, fat grafting, breast implant removal, and many more variations.

Who is a Good Candidate for Breast Revision Surgery?

What to Expect During Breast Revision/Reconstruction

What you can expect during your breast revision or breast reconstruction will depend on the issues you're looking to address. No matter what is being done, we will first administer general anesthesia. From there, Dr. Frederick will start your breast surgery by making an incision along the original scar tissue. He will then either remove the implants, replace the existing breast implants, remove excess breast tissue, and/or remove the capsule to address capsular contracture.
